I have had some form of artistic practice until 2016 when my first son was born. Until then I did sound design, light design, installation art, music performance, etc. From 2012 to 2016 I was part of the art collective Live Art Installations (website currently down).
Since 2016 that I only perform routine art work in the form of weird performances for Science & Cocktails or graphic design for the Dutch Institute for Emergent Phenomena.
Below you find a selection of various projects I’ve been involved in.
Sound/light design, music performance, and installation art
A permanent art installation since 2016 in the hippie commune Christiania in Copenhagen. If you visit it in the night time you will see a high tower with a red light flickering.
Fabrikken’s lighthouse
I designed the light pattern and coded the arduino running the lighthouse. The installation came to existence due to the genius of Thomas Jørgensen and Peter Plett.
Since 2010 that I take part in creating introduction videos for Science & Cocktails participant scientists.
Introduction videos for Science & Cocktails
The videos can get as weird as it is post-humanly possible. They break the ice between audience and scientists.
Orb sea
A permanent art installation since 2015 in one of the canals next to Copenhagen University Campus. The orbs (light elements) react to the sounds of the city and people passing by via hidden microphones, and forming complex patterns mimicking the communication between biological identities.
I designed the light patterns and coded arduinos. The installation was created together with Thomas Jørgensen and Pipaluk Supernova from Live Art Installations.
A two-day art-installation in 2012 in the Copenhagen harbour where submergible lamps reacted to the audience and the city via hidden microphones, forming complex light patterns.
I designed the light patterns and coded arduinos and air-pumping sequences. The installation was created together with Thomas Jørgensen and Pipaluk Supernova from Live Art Installations.

Battle of Copenhagen
A large scale event lasting for 1h that took place in Copenhagen in 2012. The event involved 50 dancers, 5 boats, 100 double bass players, 5 ships, one aquarium and one submarine. I designed all light patterns, coded all arduinos and controlled light sequences and light effects live.
The event was produced by Live Art Installations. The official website for Battle of Copenhagen is down at the moment.
An Azorean electronic music project based on Azorean traditional music lead by Pedro Lucas.
I designed various sounds using Max/MSP that were used in the two records besides playing the didgeridoo and performing at various concerts. I also did a couple of art installations in connections with the concerts using sound and video controlling arduinos.
